Cyber Tracks signs Warner Drive, New Album in 2014

Press Releases

Cyber Tracks has just announced their first signing of 2014, adding rockers Warner Drive to their currently punk-centric roster. Warner Drive is a Los Angeles based rock band with elements of punk and metal. The group has built a reputation as one of the country’s most relentless touring acts, playing over 200 shows each year for the past three years running. Known for their incredible energetic live performance, Warner Drive has shared the stage with bands such as Imagine Dragons, Jet, CKY, Saving Abel, Camp Freddy, Danko Jones, The Plain White T’s, Yellowcard, Steel Panther, Clutch, The Killers, and many more. Warner Drive was hailed as a highlight of the Sunset Strip Music Festival where they tore up the Roxy stage for a sold out house. In addition, they recently wrapped up their European Tour where they headlined the Helgea Festivalen in Sweden, Dithmarscher Rock Festival in Germany, and fascinated fans at The Uproar Festival here in the states.

Warner Drive has released two full length albums to date, selling over 15,000 copies in DIY fashion. Their first album, Fully Loaded, was produced by Mike Clink (Guns n Roses, Motley Crue, Megadeth), and James Michael (Alanis Morissette, The Deftones, SIXX:AM). This will be the bands third album and is set to be produced by El Hefe (guitarist of NOFX and co-owner of Cyber Tracks), and mixed by Ryan Greene (Megadeth, Bad Religion). “This new project with Warner Drive is a great opportunity for me to venture outside of the punk world. I’ve always been into all kinds of music, so, to produce a rock album is the perfect endeavor for me. I am also very excited to work with Ryan Greene, he is a great attribute to this team, especially with his rock background,” says El Hefe, with Jen adding “The moment I heard that Warner Drive has a female guitarist, I was interested in checking them out. Candice is beautiful and talented and paves the way for women in rock, I am in full support of women being badass. When I finally had a chance to see the band live, I was BLOWN AWAY. I haven’t seen a good live show like theirs in quite some time.”

Cyber Tracks is a Los Angeles based record label founded by El Hefe (guitarist of NOFX) and wife Jen Abeyta. Their first signing was in 2012 with a self-titled full-length from LA punk trio Margate, which was followed by Implants’ “From Chaos to Order,” and promises to have more signings and releases in addition to Warner Drive in 2014. “When I heard that Warner Drive had the opportunity to become part of the Cyber Tracks family, for me personally, it validated my entire musical career. Growing up in LA and idolizing NOFX, it’s an honor to be acknowledged by a member of the band that I love and respect so much. I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for us with our new family at Cyber Tracks. Let’s see what kind of trouble we can stir up together!” says Lead Singer Johnny Law, with Drummer Johnny Udell adding, “In the world of music, it’s always a pleasure not only to work with professional people but good people who are true music fans! Cyber Tracks is the best home for Warner Drive for that reason alone …not to mention the respect we have for El Hefe musically with his endeavors in rock and roll. We are proud to call Cyber Tracks our home.”
