Implants Signing

Cyber Tracks sign Implants (feat. members of Strung Out, Pulley, Ten Foot Pole)

Press Releases

Cyber Tracks is pleased to announce the signing of melodic punk rock supergroup Implants. Implants formed in 2011 and features members of SoCal punk mainstays Strung Out, Pulley, Ten Foot Pole and The Tank. They have quickly amassed a large following after leaking demos online which have received worldwide attention and radio play, and have already proven themselves a must-see live act while sharing the stage with Good Riddance, The Vandals, Pulley and Strung Out among others. The band’s long awaited debut album, which was engineered by Eric Stenman (Saves The Day, Thrice), produced by Implants and mixed by Ryan Greene (Bad Religion, Megadeth), will be released on Cyber Tracks in Spring 2013.

Guitarist and producer El Hefe and wife Jen Abeyta’s boutique label Cyber Tracks launched in 2012 with a self-titled full-length from LA punk trio Margate, and promises to have more signings and releases in addition to Implants to announce in early 2013. Implants drummer Chris Dalley says of the band’s decision to go with the label, “To me personally, they have so much knowledge in the music business, and they really believe in our band. It was an easy win-win decision for us.”

Cyber Tracks is Implants first label deal, but the members have all toured with El Hefe at some point in their careers with other bands. “I’ve known all the guys forever, and when I found out they were working with Ryan Greene I knew they were really on to something,” says El Hefe, with Jen adding, “After we released our first album, as a label we weren’t sure which direction to take. Once we heard Implants and the amazing record they were finishing up, the decision was a no-brainer. It is an honor to work with such a great band, and there is nothing cooler than doing business with your friends. I feel that we have created a power team with Ryan Greene, five talented punk veterans and my husband as the ingredients.”

Implants will be playing the Glasshouse in Pomona CA on Friday, Jan 4th with Assuming We Survive.
